Bible Study Group on Zoom: Exploring the Beatitudes in English and Aramaic

This fall’s bible study will continue for six weeks, led by Nancy Jo Steetle. Because Jesus’s native tongue was Aramaic, it will be interesting to read an Aramaic translation of the Beatitudes.  We can then compare with English translations and talk about our own personal experiences.

Please bring to the zoom conversations both an English Bible and the Aramaic translations found in “Prayers of the Cosmos” by Neil Douglas-Klotz.  The book is available to purchase online for $11.51 and we hope our AFM Library will have at least one copy.
